We met through our love of music — and after a few gigs, festivals, and questionable playlists, we knew we’d found something special.
After some long-distance train rides and even longer playlists, Laura moved to Newcastle just before the world hit pause.
What began as a long-distance romance became a crash course in togetherness.
We spent lockdown finding joy in the small things — classic comedies, endless games and frankly an absurd amount of chocolate.
From the start, we realised we were opposites in all the best ways:
One of us schedules every beat of the festival, the other finds the rhythm somewhere between getting lost at the merch stand and packing 5 pairs of jeans for just 3 days.
But we’ll never stop dancing to the same song.
Chris proposed with a nervous grin and a plan to capture the moment, only for Laura to barely hear the question before celebrating (and answering “YES!” of course).
